GRAND TETON ROAD TRIP

JACKSON HOLE, WYOMING

Forewarning, Jackson Hole is pricey and popular. We stayed in the last hotel available (in our price range) it was $160 a night and to be quite honest they should have had to pay me to stay there. The carpet was damp for all 4 days we were there and the room just felt like it hadn’t been cleaned in a really long time. However, all we really needed was a bed to sleep in at the end of the day so I guess I shouldn’t be complaining too much.

We bought breakfast/lunch groceries at the local Albertson’s and then we ate dinner at McDonald’s almost every night… it’s really hard to turn down $1 chicken sandwiches after a long day. But don’t get me wrong the long days are great, the sun does not set until about 9-9:30pm!

I want to add, that we did stop at at Yellowstone first, because it’s connected to Grand Teton National Park, but nothing really did it for me there, we didn’t even take one picture. We did take videos of the hundreds of people lined up to watch Old Faithful as if I was at SeaWorld watching the Shamu show. And LET ME TELL YOU, Old Faithful really let me down. Maybe I just don’t appreciate geology enough, but I will definitely not be going back.
